About the event
Join me this month in celebrating this Full Moon Eclipse in Pisces!
This month's Moon Magick Meetup will include a water release ceremony (we won't get wet, but we will be drowning out problems in water ;-) ) and a Full Moon Rebirth Sound Immersion Bath. Once our sound journey is complete, we will be decorating 36" brooms for the upcoming fall season while also having the chance to get a tarot card reading from Kristi Brooks (there is an for an additional charge for the card readings).
Please know that I love for ALL people to be able to join the circle and that is why I do our gathering at tables with chairs instead of on the floor. I also welcome people of all beliefs, races, genders, etc at my circle but do not allow hate or discrimination. This event is best for people over the age of 12, but nurslings are welcome! If you have questions about this, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
I hope you will join us and bring a friend or five!
A sound immersion bath is a meditative experience where participants are immersed in sound waves produced by various instruments such as singing bowls, chimes, and more. These sounds are designed to create a deeply relaxing environment, encouraging a meditative state and promoting mental, emotional, and physical healing. The vibrations from the instruments are believed to help balance energy, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being. Typically, participants sit or lie down in a comfortable position, close their eyes, and simply allow the sounds to wash over them. Vibrational healing through sound is a phenomenal way to facilitate & support soul connection. If you have a Pacemaker, metal in body, uncontrolled epilepsy (seizures) or previous head injuries please talk to your doctor before proceeding with any sound healing session.
About your facilitator Heather Scott, Reiki Master & Teacher | Aromatherapist | Intuitive Healer | Mystic | Ritualist | Alchemist | Badass
Hey friends! When I was younger I used to lay on the ground and stare at the clouds trying to see what shapes I could see and putting meaning and “stories” into those shapes. Looking back I see that as the beginning of my journey of being an intuitive healer but it sometimes we need more life experiences to make us better healers. It wasn’t until after the birth of my son over two decades later, that I finally had my first big awakening. I quit my job, started school to become an aromatherapist and opened my first healing business. Now after over a decade, I’m here to use my experiences to help you reconnect with your soul, heal your spirit, and remember why you are here. Healing ourselves causes a ripple effect - by healing ourselves we are healing future generations and also the world.
About Kristi Brooks: People think of tarot as some fortune teller giving them sham advice, but that is an outdated version and is not in the sphere of what this reading will entail. I’ve been reading for more than a decade now and my style is one that I developed to go along with my creative side. Each reading that I do is a 12 card layout and lasts for 30 minutes. In that reading I tell a story of what the cards are telling you to focus on. I do this by reading 4 cards for the past, 4 cards for the present, and 4 cards for the future. You can ask questions afterward, but beforehand I like to let the cards decide what the most important thing is that they need to focus on. Because the one thing I’ve learned after all this time is that you cannot try to force the cards to give you the answers on demand. They are going to tell you what you need to focus on, and you will have to make the decision on whether to listen.
Intuitive paintings are another way that I harness my creative energy and channel it into a reading. The way I do this is to draw three different tarot cards and then I use watercolors and acrylic markers to paint the energy and the story I see unfolding in front me in the colors, lines, and energy that I associate with it. We can talk about the tarot cards while I paint or you can sit in silence. Either way, it is an experience that captures the energy of the tarot, your aura, and my creative/artistic skills all in one.
